Hello to all of you PDX drummers!
I am new to the wonderful world of drumming and I love it and want more. I am not particularly good but I am a persistent student.
I know that there have been previous requests for local circles but I was not around then. I am here now so I will ask one more time, do any of you know of any circles that would welcome a new drummer like me?
If not, are any of you interested in getting one started? I would not mind just getting together with some people to jam, I also play a little bit if didgeridoo!
Thanks
K

Re: Drum Circle Update
Sat, March 1, 2008 - 7:59 AMThe fire jam is open to all. I think that if you hop in and do your best then you'll have a good time.

Re: Drum Circle Update
Sun, March 2, 2008 - 1:41 AMI swear I posted a response to this earlier...Tribe is being a punk ass.
Paraphrased;
Have you been to the bi-weekly fire jams? Doesn't matter your skill, show up and drop a beat.

Re: Drum Circle Update
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 4:24 PMThe fire jams are on the 1st and 3rd sunday on the eastside riverfront esplanade at the dead end of Salmon. Just follow the noise and smoke.
Also, we have a posse of drummers show up every sunday at the same location, along with
various fire people. always a good time. -
